The tension is unresolved: the case incontrovertibly documents that a credentialed whistleblower made these claims under oath and was taken seriously by the legal apparatus; it does not document that the claims are true.

On March 27, 2025, Representative Eric Burlison appointed Grusch as special advisor to the Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets — a four-month term, with his security clearance reinstated after its loss had hampered earlier congressional investigations — carrying his advocacy role into the legislative process. In June 2026, Grusch returned to Capitol Hill in a bipartisan press event alongside Representatives Anna Paulina Luna, Tim Burchett, Eric Burlison, and Jared Moskowitz, pressing for UAP record declassification and reiterating allegations that intelligence agencies hide billions in secret spending through 'slush funds'.
