Biography
Representative for Missouri's 7th district since 2023 and a member of the House Oversight subcommittee that held the July 2023 UAP hearing with Grusch, Graves and Fravor. He argues the federal government is 'actively blocking' information on the phenomenon and insists pilots must be able to report without fear of reprisal. He is part of the bipartisan push for a standing congressional committee dedicated to UAP.

Two letters from Representative Eric Burlison (R-MO), sent through the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform in May 2026. The first, of 7 May, asks MIT Lincoln Laboratory to determine whether the "AF-ATIC-FILM, 03/52" recording from the 1952 Beacon Hill Study, labelled as a flying-saucer talk with Edward J. Ruppelt as briefer, still exists, to preserve it and to transfer a copy to the National Archives (Record Group 615). The second, of 22 May, sends the MITRE Corporation interrogatories and document requests covering every UAP record since 1930, including recovered materials and alleged crash-retrieval or reverse-engineering programs. MITRE announced it would comply. The letters prove that Congress is seeking those records, not that they exist.
