An unlikely cultural catalyst: the musician who funded and assembled the team of former officials (Mellon, Elizondo, Puthoff, Davis) behind the 2017 New York Times report. His organization To The Stars Academy served as a public vehicle to release the Nimitz, Gimbal and GoFast military videos. His Sekret Machines saga is the popular face of the disclosure agenda: debatable, but structurally decisive.

Email of 25 January 2016 from Tom DeLonge to John Podesta, Hillary Clinton's campaign chairman, published by WikiLeaks in October 2016 as part of the Podesta email archive. In the messages he sent between October 2015 and January 2016, DeLonge sought meetings about a "sensitive topic" tied to his Sekret Machines project, said he was in contact with people in "senior leadership", and attached images. The archive's authenticity was verified through the DKIM signatures with which Google's servers had originally signed the messages. The email proves that a channel existed between DeLonge and a top-level political operative, not that what DeLonge claimed about his contacts or about any classified program was true.

Gen. McCasland disappearance
Record of the disappearance of retired USAF Major General William Neil McCasland, 68, former head of the Air Force Research Laboratory at Wright-Patterson, who on 27 February 2026 walked out of his home in Albuquerque and did not return; according to CNN, the Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office issued a Silver Alert. It is not a UAP incident: there is no object and no sighting. Its link to the subject is that his name appears in a Tom DeLonge email to John Podesta of 25 January 2016, leaked by WikiLeaks (email #3099, subject 'General McCasland'), and that he went missing days after the presidential order to release federal UFO records.
