Biography

Analytical Valencian ufologist (b. 1948), a reference for the rigorous, skeptical approach in Spanish. He curates FOTOCAT, the largest worldwide catalogue of cases backed by photographic or film evidence, and between 1992 and 1999 was instrumental in declassifying the Spanish Air Force's UFO archives. Author of 300+ technical reports: he treats each case as a problem of evidence, not faith.

Canary Islands· 1976

On the night of 22 June 1976, observers across four Canary Islands —doctors, air-traffic controllers and the crew of the Navy ship Atrevida— reported a large luminous spherical object from non-overlapping lines of sight. The Spanish Air Force opened a formal investigation; the file was declassified in 1994 as the centerpiece of Spain's disclosure.

A TAE Supercaravelle declares an in-flight emergency over Valencia, harassed by unidentified lights; Torrejón military radar confirms the objects and a Mirage F-1 fails three interception attempts. File declassified by the Spanish Air Force (1992–1995).

Mexican Air Force (FLIR)· 2004

On 5 March 2004, a Mexican Air Force aircraft on an anti-narcotics patrol over Campeche detected eleven spherical objects on radar and FLIR, visible only in infrared; Defense Secretary Clemente Vega García personally authorized release of the video. It is a calibration case: official disclosure does not imply anomaly, and a plausible conventional explanation (reflections from oil platforms) remains.
