Biography

Her book American Cosmic (Oxford University Press, 2019) was the first reference academic study of the phenomenon's institutional culture today: Silicon Valley, the Vatican, defense contractors. Encounters (2023) extends that work to the phenomenology of contact. She brings an ontological-religious lens that connects the phenomenon to pre-modern spiritual traditions.
