Chris Bledsoe
Construction contractor from Fayetteville, North Carolina · case investigated by MUFON with five witnesses, psychiatric evaluation and polygraph (2007)
Biography
His 2007 case on the Cape Fear River is one of the few where a civilian organization did the full job: MUFON interviewed the five witnesses separately, documented a time discrepancy —he estimated twenty minutes away, his companions reported three to four hours—, commissioned a psychiatric evaluation that found him of sound mind, and a polygraph that showed indications of deception on some answers. On that episode he later built a sustained public career: a book, a lecture circuit, and an account of recurring contact with orbs and with an entity he calls 'the Lady'. That later stretch includes claims of institutional backing —a purported eight-year NASA investigation— that this corpus searched for and could not verify against any nameable primary source.
