Biography
In a series of public lectures he claimed to have survived a 1979 firefight against non-human beings in an underground base beneath Dulce, New Mexico, with some sixty dead, and displayed scars as proof. Nothing substantial in his account could be verified: there is no confirmed record of his jobs, contracts, or security clearances, nor primary documentation of the base or the incident. The Dulce myth, moreover, predates him —it originates in the disinformation campaign directed at Paul Bennewitz in the 1980s— suggesting he built on a pre-existing legend. He appears in the directory as the unverifiable end of the spectrum: his account is the case study in how a testimony with no documentary anchor installs itself in the culture anyway.
