United States.Grusch on Rogan #2560 · the cadaver video and the second-hand reptilians
On September 30, 2026, on episode 2560 of The Joe Rogan Experience, David Grusch said he had seen a contemporary video of a retrieval showing cadavers of human appearance and very pale skin, and relayed second-hand a crash with dead grays and a reptilian craft. He declined to date the video or name anyone, and said he had just left Representative Burlison's office after a year and a half. He offered no document, and the transcript available to the corpus is partial.

What do these figures mean?
The tier measures the strength of the evidence. The split of explanations (below) says what it most plausibly was, and “unexplained” is the share of that split no known cause explains (indeterminate plus the non-human narratives). So a well-documented case can have a possible hoax as its most plausible cause, and a Tier B is not, for that reason, a hoax.

Part 01
The file in question
On September 30, 2026, The Joe Rogan Experience published its episode 2560, with David Grusch as the guest. It is his second appearance on the show after the 2023 hearing, which he himself summarized at the start: the UAP Disclosure Act of 2023 did not pass, he laid low during 2024, and Representative Eric Burlison later hired him as a professional staff member of Congress, something that, he said, nobody had done before with a whistleblower who had testified before it. He worked with Burlison for about a year and a half and had just finished; in that period he held, he said, classified meetings with members of Congress on the history of the topic and did work with the Department of Justice on criminal matters he did not detail. The transcript available to the corpus is partial —it has gaps of several minutes and does not cover the whole episode—, so what follows is limited to what the text allows us to read.
The central claim is the video. Rogan asked whether non-human cadavers exist and Grusch answered 'oh, 100%': he said he had seen the audiovisual material of a retrieval with cadavers on the ground, that is, footage and not the bodies in person. He declined to date it —'it's contemporary', not 'like 1950s black and white'— so as not to identify the operation or the source, whom he called patriotic. He described them as human-looking, 'very beautiful', with 'bluish white' skin, 'like someone who drowned', pale 'like an albino', and 'grayish' hair; the video was not a close-up. He said the bodies are kept for analysis, probably frozen, though he does not know the process, and that there was work comparing genomes whose result he does not know. He added that he held this kind of material for years before feeling comfortable, for fear of a deception or a 'limited hangout', and that he does not show or describe it further because it could identify whoever gave it to him.
The second claim is second-hand, and he marks it as such. He said some of his colleagues saw living beings with the look he called 'pop culture reptilian', and that the grays 'are real' too, for which he cited the 1994 Ariel School case ↗, well documented. About a crashed reptilian craft he said a conflict was assumed 'because there was dead grays there too', and that he knows the people who were there, physically threatened like him. Rogan summed up that the grays and the reptilians 'were duking it out' and Grusch answered 'I guess'; when Rogan asked why they killed them, Grusch began to answer and the available text cuts off there. He confirmed his source is a single person, did not recall any communication with the beings, and the 'seven foot' height associated with this account is stated by Rogan in the text, not by Grusch.
The rest of the episode mixes institutional claims. Grusch said Aaron Lukas, deputy director of National Intelligence, signed non-disclosure waivers ↗; that with Burlison they obtained a still-classified 1952 Blue Book recording and the Lincoln Labs film in the latest PURSUE tranche; and that his office sent interrogatories to MITRE ↗. He said Bigelow met Trump in February 2026 to ask him to admit the existence of non-human intelligence ↗, and that General McCasland's disappearance ↗ admits only two readings, a personal tragedy or something else. He cited the 1971 nuclear accidents agreement, whose article 3 mentions unidentified objects, and said disclosure must come before Trump's term ends. He closed by saying he hoped it would be his last interview for a while, as the past year had worn him out.
Part 02
Why this case moved the needle
The episode matters because it adds to Grusch's claims an element the corpus did not have: having seen a video of bodies. What the corpus records so far ↗ ↗ were programs, craft, biological remains and occupants 'taken alive' that others had told him about; now he says he has seen footage, though he can neither date nor show it and gives only the bodies' appearance. It remains authority without material, the structure the corpus already recorded with Bigelow, and the detail grows while verifiability stays flat, which is the 8n pattern.
The entity catalog reflects that limit. The form is recorded as 'Asserted, not described' and not as 'Grey', 'Reptiloid' or 'Tall, near-human': the reptilians arrive through a second-hand chain with a single source and no description beyond the pop-culture label; the grays he rests on an already cataloged case, Ariel School, which is not a new claim of his; and the bodies in the video are described with human, pale features, without stature, which is what distinguishes the 'tall, near-human' type. That 'Reptiloid' still has no case of its own in the catalog is itself a datum: the only new account that mentions it is second-hand.
Two reading cautions. The transcript has gaps, so the corpus does not record what Grusch answered when Rogan asked why they killed them, nor all his specifics. And Grusch himself separates what he saw, the video, from what he was told, the reptilians, and says he has no access to the analyses, such as the genome work, or to the beings' origin. What the corpus should follow is not the episode but whether the video, or any of the documents he mentions, is ever corroborated by a document or a name.

Documented evidence
- Episode 2560 of The Joe Rogan Experience with David Grusch (September 30, 2026), partial transcript with gaps
- Says he saw the audiovisual material of a contemporary retrieval with cadavers of human appearance, bluish-white skin and grayish hair; refuses to date it or identify the operation
- The reptilians and the dead grays at the crash are second-hand: a single source, with no description beyond the pop-culture label
- Says he does not know the preservation process for the bodies or the result of the genome comparison work
- Claims to have worked for Burlison for about a year and a half and to have finished after Labor Day 2026
- Offers no documents, names or images that would allow the video to be verified
