At some point in 2023, an infrared sensor aboard a U.S. military platform recorded one minute and 59 seconds of footage within the area of responsibility of U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (INDOPACOM). The command formally submitted the report to the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), catalogued as DOW-UAP-PR47. As with most files in this batch, the original reporter left no oral or written description of what was observed.
AARO's official visual description is brief but specific on one point: for nearly the full two minutes of footage, 'the sensor tracks three distinct areas of contrast, maintaining their positions generally within the center of the frame. The areas of contrast appear to maintain a fixed position and orientation relative to one another.' In other words, this is not three objects crossing paths, separating, or changing relative arrangement —as in the October 2020 three-fast-object case (↗), where the description documents objects entering and exiting frame independently— but a formation AARO itself characterizes as stable throughout the entire observation.

Stars, planets, or satellites in apparent conjunction could also produce three fixed-relative-position light points if the observing platform remains relatively stable, though that kind of confusion is less common in military infrared sensors with active tracking reticles than in naked-eye visual observation.
