Biography
In May 2024 he revealed on a television interview that in 2012 —twelve years earlier, and already a regional public figure— he was driving from Puerto Natales to Punta Arenas when a rotating light shut down his car and his phone, and that he reappeared some two hundred kilometers further along the same road with no memory of the journey. What matters about the case is not the evidence, which is nil: it is the cost. Bianchi made the statement while holding a Senate seat, received sustained public mockery, and did not retract, responding only that he regretted 'the violence people unload on social media'.
