En abril de 2008, pobladores del caserío San Juan, cerca de Pucallpa (Amazonía peruana, Ucayali), reportaron 'luces' que sobrevolaban la zona de noche y disparaban haces de luz contra la gente, generando terror. La OIFAA de la Fuerza Aérea del Perú, dirigida por el comandante Julio César Chamorro, recibió el reporte y tenía personal en la región; la pesquisa civil la realizaron tres estudiantes de Ciencias de la Comunicación de la Universidad de Lima. Es un caso de baja documentación —principalmente testimonial y secundaria— que recuerda, a escala menor, al patrón de Colares.In April 2008, residents of the San Juan hamlet near Pucallpa (Peruvian Amazon, Ucayali) reported 'lights' that flew over the area at night and shot beams of light at people, causing terror. The Peruvian Air Force's OIFAA, led by Commander Julio César Chamorro, received the report and had personnel in the region; the civilian inquiry was carried out by three Communication Sciences students from the University of Lima. It is a low-documentation case —mostly testimonial and secondary— that echoes, on a smaller scale, the Colares pattern.

Investigó casos como la oleada de Chulucanas (2002), las 'luces' de Pucallpa (2008) y el doble avistamiento con radar frente al aeropuerto de Lima (2019).
