Biography
A theoretical physicist tied to the Pentagon's advanced-propulsion programs. He is the author of the so-called 'Wilson memo', personal notes leaked in 2019 describing a conversation with Admiral Thomas Wilson about a secret, unacknowledged craft-recovery program. Its authenticity is disputed, but its content matches in structure the testimony David Grusch gave in 2023.

Wilson-Davis Memo
The so-called Wilson-Davis memo is a set of handwritten notes attributed to Eric W. Davis, dated October 16, 2002, recording a conversation with Admiral Thomas R. Wilson, former deputy director of the DIA. According to the notes, Wilson said that around 1997 he was denied access to a special access program run by a private contractor that claimed to be studying recovered material of unknown origin, despite his clearance and rank. The notes circulated in 2019, after Edgar Mitchell's death. Davis has not denied writing them, but Wilson denies both the meeting and the content and called the memo 'pure fiction'; the Pentagon neither confirms nor denies it. They are private notes that no program document corroborates.
