Escritor científico y educador canadiense, con formación en astronomía, que estudia el fenómeno desde mediados de los años 70 con un enfoque marcadamente estadístico y documental. Desde 1989 dirige, a través de Ufology Research (UFOROM, Manitoba), el Canadian UFO Survey, un censo anual que reúne y analiza todos los reportes del país y que ya documenta más de 22.000 avistamientos —una de las series de datos más largas y sistemáticas del mundo—. Ha publicado en revistas revisadas por pares y es autor de diez libros, entre ellos 'Canada's UFOs: Declassified' (2021).
