Biography

Brazilian writer and ufologist (Rio de Janeiro, 1957). He has investigated the UFO phenomenon since 1975 and is one of the central figures of Brazilian field ufology: since 1982 he has run vigils and surveys in the Serra da Beleza (west of Rio), documenting hundreds of cases and around a hundred photographs. A founding member of the Comissão Brasileira de Ufólogos (CBU) and a co-driver of the 'UFOs: Freedom of Information Now' campaign, which led to the release of some 4,000 pages of Brazilian military files. He studied the country's classic military-ufology cases: Operação Prato (Colares), the Official UFO Night (1986) and Varginha.
